A lawyer built for India's
highest courts

Aditya Kashyap at RGNUL
RGNUL • National Law University, Punjab

Aditya Kashyap is a New Delhi-based advocate practising before the Supreme Court of India and the Delhi High Court. He is enrolled with the Bar Council of Delhi (D/6007/2021) and holds three active panel mandates — as Associate to the Additional Solicitor General of India, as Panel Counsel for the Union of India at the Supreme Court, and as Panel Counsel for Dr. B.R. Ambedkar National Law University, Sonepat.

He is the Founder of NyayaLaw (Nyayamimansa Law Solutions LLP) — a law practice built on the principles of principled advocacy and accessible justice. His practice spans constitutional law, criminal law, service matters, arbitration, and IPR, with a strong accent on public interest litigation.

Aditya graduated from Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab with a CGPA of 9.16 (Distinction), specialising in Criminal Law with Majors in Economics. His academic foundation was followed by a judicial clerkship under Justice Chandra Dhari Singh of the Delhi High Court — a formative training in the art of judicial reasoning. He is also pursuing programmes at IIM Ahmedabad, Harvard University, and IIT Madras to deepen his cross-disciplinary expertise.

A prolific writer and commentator, he has published in The Print, The Organiser, Verdictum, Nyayapravah and The Lawstreet Journal, and has authored and edited multiple books including Vichar Manthan and Handbook of A Patriot. His legal activism has secured tangible relief — from a 50% fee waiver for students at RGNUL (affirmed by the Supreme Court) to directing the Madras High Court to provide toilet facilities for women lawyers.

Beyond the courtroom, he served as National Co-Convenor of Think India for two terms (2020–2022), engaging over 3,200 interns and building national networks across law schools and institutions. He is a member of the Commonwealth Youth Council's Advisory Committee on Law & Justice and a contributor to multiple legal journals.
